BP's Hayward to receive Energy Innovator Award
LA JOLLA — Tony Hayward, group chief executive officer of BP p.l.c., was honored May 13 with the Institute of the America's first Energy Innovator Award.
“Today, Tony is recognized for his leadership in calling for technology investment to create greater energy efficiency and for working to bring new energy sources to the market,“ IOA Chairman David Weaver said during an award ceremony attended by nearly 200 people at the Institute's annual La Jolla Conference. Martin talks about energy boom-bust at Caracas forum
A member's-only docent-led tour of the Mingei - the museum of world folk arts. Two tours will be organized on two different Saturdays. One tour will be offered at the Escondido location, which houses the Mingei's Huichol collection, and the other tour will be offered at the Balboa Park location.
