Regional Critical Energy and Climate Issues Dialog
During the 2009 Summit of the Americas in Trinidad and Tobago, U.S. President Barak Obama announced the Energy and Climate Partnership of the Americas (ECPA). In April 2010, U.S. Secretary of Energy Steven Chu hosted the first Energy and Climate Partnership of the Americas (ECPA) Ministerial meeting where Ministers underscored the importance of building upon existing collaborative efforts and developing further concrete activities.
