Dr. Ramírez de la O is an Economist and a graduate of Cambridge University who has had important connections with Mexico's business community. This is the second of three scheduled meetings. 2/23/2006 Strengthening the Contribution of Mexican Corporate Philanthropy to Civil Society Puebla, México The Institute is completing a one-year study that identifies the major obstacles that impede civil society, business and government from cooperating as fully as they should. A conference of stakeholders will be held Feb. 23 in Puebla with the Fundación Comunataria de Puebla at the Holiday Inn Puebla Centro Historico to discuss the the study on Mexican Corporate Philanthropy and its recommendations. 2/24/2006 - 2/25/2006 Assuring Long-Term Finance for Mexican Municipalities Puebla, Mexico This is the third in a series of conferences on long-term financing for municipal infrastructure in Mexico. The program, to be held on February 24 & 25 in Puebla, is being co-sponsored by the government of that state.
