Central America Energy: Renewables, Integration & Investment

Organized in conjunction with the Organization of American States’ December 11 forum on Sustainable Energy for Central and North America, this one-day executive session will build on the OAS discussion on sustainable energy by focusing on the role of the private sector. Key themes will include: Renewable energy development, the role of biofuels, carbon trading, the challenges and opportunities for energy integration and the implications of the current investment climate for the region.

Participants in the Institute’s event on December 12 are invited to attend the OAS event as observers.
