Organized in conjunction with the 25th anniversary celebration of the Institute of the Americas and a November 15 conference on  Latin America’s next 25 years, this half-day session will  examine  the region’s energy outlook and focus on key issues such as the human capital challenge, the role and increasing importance of renewable energy and carbon trading and  the best methods to develop native energy resources.

The event will feature several “Davos style” panel discussions and  host energy executives, policy makers and academics as speakers and participants.
