FACILITIES INFORMATION AND RESERVATION FORM
The Institute’s facilities provide a beautiful setting for business, private, or academic gatherings. Facilities information is provided below. If you are interested in booking one of our spaces for an upcoming event, please contact us first to confirm availability, then we will instruct you to complete the reservation request form at the bottom of this page. Make sure to read user responsibilities and requirements before completing your reservation form.
The Institute regularly rents out the five spaces below. Note that Hojel Hall of the Americas Auditorium and Arango Foyer are located in one building on our grounds, called the Copley International Conference Center. Institute facilities are equipped with a kitchen suitable for professional caterers as well as booths for simultaneous interpretation.
Hojel Hall of the Americas Auditorium

Formal auditorium seating graced with the flags of the nations of the Americas. A perfect location for lectures, films, musical performances, and seminars. Located in our Copley International Conference Center.

Overlooking the Pacific Ocean, the expansive Spanish-style plaza and central fountain provides a warm, inviting location for lunch, dinners and receptions.

Full of natural light and tile flooring, this area is suitable for event registration, receptions, art exhibits, small-group lunches and dinners. Located in our Copley International Conference Center.
Weaver Center Malamud Room

The Weaver Conference Center houses the Malamud room, which seats up to 120 theatre-style. With approximately 2,680 SF of space and almost square, the space lends itself well to small or large groups. Outside the room’s main doors is a small breezeway suitable for registration, coffee breaks, small luncheons or receptions.
Deutz Conference Room
Seats up to 70 theatre-style, 35 boardroom-style

It is ideal for intimate gatherings or business meetings.
Parking on campus requires either a UCSD-issued parking permit or short-term permit that can be purchased at self-service machines located in the front and back (right-hand side) of the Pangea parking structure (street-level) and roof level at the corner of Pangea Drive and Scholars Drive. Note that the booths are always unmanned.

A request is not a guarantee of availability nor confirms a reservation. A confirmation will be sent within 5 working days after request is received. Institute hours are 9:00 am-5:00 pm. Reserving party is responsible for picking-up access keys during business hours. The Institute does not offer any logistics support. Pertinent contact information is provided throughout these pages for the renter’s convenience.
