Doing Business with China: The Latin America Experience

The Institute of the Americas, in collaboration with the Development Bank of Latin America (CAF), the U.N. Economic Commission on Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) and the Institute of Latin American Studies of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), will organize a one-day forum on August 22 titled, “Doing Business with China: The Latin America Experience,” for business executives, government officials, academics and representatives of NGOs. The forum, which will take place in ECLAC’s headquarters in Santiago, Chile, will focus on commercial and investment relationships between China and Latin America; financing new business ties with China; and exporting to China from the perspective of bi-national chambers of commerce in countries throughout the region.
