Gen. John F. KellyWe’re honored to invite you to a community roundtable conversation with General John F. Kelly, the commander of the U.S. Southern Command.  General Kelly will discuss key goals of the Southern Command in the areas of regional security and prosperity. Community members with professional experience in these areas in the countries served by the Southern Command are encouraged to summarize their learnings for General Kelly in this roundtable discussion.

The U.S. Southern Command is a joint military command supporting U.S. national security objectives throughout the Western Hemisphere in cooperation with domestic and international partners, in order to foster security, ensure stability, and promote prosperity throughout Central and South America, the Caribbean and the global community.  The command is responsible for all Department of Defense security cooperation in the 31 nations and 15 areas of special sovereignty in Central and South America and the Caribbean Sea.
