 US Ambassador John FeeleyPanama has long been a key center for international commerce and trade while the country’s economy has consistently been one of the fastest growing in Central America. Since 2010, Panama has seen average GDP growth of over 8% per year. With the recently inaugurated Panama Canal expansion and new set of locks, as well as continued development of projects such as Ciudad del Saber, a cutting edge innovation cluster located in former Canal Zone facilities, the country is striving to insure that it remains a key commercial and innovation hub in our hemisphere.

Join us on Friday, July 22 for a conversation with US ambassador to Panama John Feeley. Ambassador Feeley will share insights on the Panama Canal expansion particularly vis-à-vis global commerce and impacts for the world’s energy sector and liquefied natural gas (LNG) trade, as well as what Panama is doing to promote research and technology and serve as an innovation hub for Central America.
