Mexico City – Marriott Reforma
Paseo de la Reforma 276 Mexico , Mexico City , Distrito Federal , 06600

For over 20 years, the Institute of the Americas has convened critical energy policy discussions in Mexico. Global and regional lessons learned have been an integral part of Institute programs and informing energy policy making in Mexico.  The Institute’s efforts have always been aimed at supporting our mission of fostering a deeper understanding of critical issues and facilitating investment and development.

As in the past, this year’s Mexico Oil and Gas Roundtable will provide a high-level forum to address pressing questions surrounding the vision for Mexico’s oil and gas sector. In Davos Style panels, experts from across government and industry will address a series of topics, including how Mexico will continue to manage the energy reform process in a period of deep global uncertainty in oil markets, as well as how the current situation will enlighten upcoming bid rounds and changes to the tender process for Round One, particularly with regards to deepwater. The boom in investment and deals in Mexico’s midstream and natural gas pipeline infrastructure will also be discussed.
