Faced with some of the highest energy costs in Latin America, Chile is seeking to strike the balance between energy and economic development. This one-day policy roundtable will assess Chile’s energy outlook, the increasing importance for transmission infrastructure and connecting the nation’s two electric grids, the role for regulation and investment, discussion of renewable energy and their role in Chile’s energy matrix and an update on LNG and natural gas and what role will it continue to play in Chile.
