100% clean electric grid

The State of California garnered headlines when it passed SB 100, a bill that puts the state on a path to a 100% clean electric grid. The bill, and perhaps more importantly, state-wide efforts to boost clean energy development have become international references. Along the California-Baja California border energy cooperation and collaboration have long been the norm. But it is worth assessing what the latest state-level goals and targets in California, at the same time that Mexico has undergone a major energy overhaul and reform measures, signify for the cross border region. What should policymakers, investors and citizens interested in these issues understand? Where should they direct their attention? What are the key opportunities?

Join us

Unique roundtable discussion of these issues as well as insights on future cross border collaboration efforts between the two states. The roundtable session will feature Bryan Early, Advisor to Commissioner McAllister/Advisor on Mexico-California Collaboration at the California Energy Commission and David Maldonado, President of the State Energy Commission of Baja California.
