Several recent major policy initiatives by President Obama – administrative action on immigration and the move to normalize U.S.-Cuba relations – are reshaping both the U.S. relationship with Latin America and the fight for the potentially decisive Latino vote in the 2016 U.S. presidential election.
We’re honored to host Dan Restrepo, President Obama’s Latin American policy advisor for 6 years and now Senior Fellow at the Center for American Progress in Washington, D.C., to delve into these issues and their possible implications.
Widely recognized as one of the most influential Latinos in the country and an expert on the rising clout of the Latino population in the United States, Mr. Restrepo is a seasoned commentator and analyst on various Spanish- and English-language media outlets on a wide range of domestic policy and national security issues.
Please join us at 6:30 pm for this engaging discussion. Seating is limited, so registration is requested.
