Colombia’s renewable energy potential has received relatively little attention. Yet given the nation’s considerable geothermal, solar and wind prospects, Colombia could be generating far more of its electricity from renewable sources. The Colombian government has set a target of 60 percent generation from renewable sources by 2050 and is developing policy guidelines to promote investment in renewable energy projects.
Join us for a discussion of Colombia’s renewable energy outlook with John Padilla, Managing Director of IPD Latin America. Padilla’s discussion will be followed by an interactive Q&A with the audience.
If you are interested but unable to attend, please register anyway and we will send you the recording.
