Professional Workshop for Mexican STEM Instructors

The Experience

The Professional Workshop for Mexican STEM Instructors will provide renowned instructors and state-of-the-art facilities for talented local high school instructors. The educators will have one-on-one collaborations with international and local university professors, laboratory & field experience, and site visits, at prestigious universities and science institutions in Mexicali.

The program extends beyond science education; it provides instructors with a wide range of science experiences to help them discover their grasp within the innovative world of science and reestablishes the importance of an interdisciplinary methodology based on practical skills, with a robotics and programming & coding focus. By the completion of the program, instructors become IOA STEM Ambassadors, and have direct access to an international alumni network. Instructors will obtain knowledge, resources, and skills to further inspire their students’ scientific aspirations, and demonstrate that their professional endeavors are not limited by their backgrounds, ethnicities, or socio-economic statuses, if they wish to pursue a STEM career.
