Mr. César Butrón has 30 years if experience in the Peruvian electrical sector. Graduated in 1984 from National Engineering University as a Electromechanical Engineer, he completed studies of Master in Regulation of Pubic Services in the Pontifical Catholic University in 2008. He has been general manager or board member in many distribution, transmission and generation companies in Perú. Mr. Butrón also worked as adviser to the ViceMinister of Energy and had significant participation in the developing the 2nd Generation Reform of the regulatory framework that lead to a new law for the generation and transmission activities in Perú published in 2006. Being member of the board of the Systems Operator, COES from 2004 to 2006 at the present he holds the position or Chairman of COES since 2008.
