Jamie Hall is a manager on the global public policy team at General Motors, where he leads regulatory efforts in California to support commercialization of GM’s advanced vehicle portfolio. Jamie is responsible for policy considerations affecting the development and deployment of advanced technology vehicles such as the Chevrolet Bolt EV, including but not limited to infrastructure considerations and vehicle-grid integration. He works closely with GM technical teams, policymakers, and industry stakeholders and is active in relevant groups such as the California Electric Transportation Coalition and the California Fuel Cell Partnership.
Jamie has extensive experience working across sectors on policies related to advanced technologies, transportation, energy, and the environment. Prior to GM, he served as Policy Director at CALSTART, where he led legislative and regulatory initiatives in the clean transportation space. He received degrees from Princeton University and the Goldman School of Public Policy at UC Berkeley.
