Currently Pedro Miras is Sectorial Organizations Director in Repsol, Chairman of the World Petroleum Council Spanish Committee (WPC), Chairman of the Programme Committee and Vice President Programme of the Executive Committee of the WPC and President of the Spain/Peru Council Foundation.

Formerly, Chairman of the Spanish Strategic Petroleum Reserves Corporation (CORES), Chairman of the Standing Group on Emergency Questions (SEQ) and Chairman of the Standing Group on Markets of the International Energy Agency, Regulatory Affairs Director in the Repsol Group in Spain and Petroleum and Biofuels Director of the National Energy Commission (CNE) and Member of the Board of Directors of the Spanish Petroleum Industry Association (AOP), and Spanish Certification Biofuel Entity. He previously served for twelve years several positions in Repsol, mainly in the areas of International Expansion of the Group (New Projects section) and in the Tarragona Refinery (Project Management and Control). Also, member of the Steering Committee and the Board of Directors of Enerclub (Club Español de la Energía) and Member of ICA (Institute of Board Members & Administrators).

He has also been part of the Spanish delegation of the Assemblies of Ibero-American Energy Regulators and member of the Committee to follow up the collaboration agreement between the regulators of Brazil (ANP) and Spain (CNE), among other positions. Thus, it has more than 30 years dedicated to the world of energy and, more specifically, to hydrocarbons.

Senior Industrial Engineer, Master of Business Administrator executive (MBA) at Instituto de Empresa de Madrid and Master of International Management of the Company (MGIE) at the School of Industrial Organization of Madrid. He has been a professor in the area of Marketing at the School of Industrial Organization, the course of petroleum technology and economics in Repsol, S. A and the Ibero-American School of Defense of Competition of the Court of Defense of the Competition, professor of the Master of economy and regulation of the public services of the University of Barcelona, of the Institute of Business Formation of the Chamber of Commerce and of the CEDDET Foundation. He is currently Professor of the Master of Energy Finance, the Master in Energy Business and the Master in Energy Law, all of them from the Spanish Energy Club.

Three degrees: Bachelor in Industrial Engineering, Master of Business Administration and Master of International Business Administration.
Awarded as “Industrial Engineer of the Year 2015”- Honorary Mention Official College of Industrial Engineers of Madrid – COIIM.
He also collaborates with various publications in the field of energy and is a regular speaker at various conferences and seminars in the energy field.
