Arcadio Gutiérrez

Cursó la carrera de Ingeniero de Caminos, Canales y Puertos en la Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros de Madrid, especialidad Hidráulica y Energía, finalizando en el año 76.

Es Master por el Programa de Alta Dirección de Empresa (PADE) del IESE.

En este mismo año, 1976, inició su vida profesional en el sector de la energía, en concreto en el campo nuclear en plena expansión en la década de los 70.

En 1987 ingresó en el Cuerpo de Técnicos de la Administración Civil del Estado donde ha sido Subdirector General en los Ministerios de Trabajo y Seguridad Social y de Industria y Energía.

En 1992, regresa al sector de la energía como Director General de UNION FENOSA INGENIERIA, S.A., posteriomente denominada SOCOIN Ingeniería y Construcción Industrial, S.L., en la que ostenta el cargo de Presidente.

Ha sido Consejero en SOLUZIONA, S.A. y en PROINTEC, S.A..

Durante los años 2000-2002, fue Presidente de la Asociación Española de Empresas de Ingeniería, Consultoría y Servicios Tecnológicos (TECNIBERIA), que actúa como la patronal nacional del sector de ingeniería.

Entre 2004 a 2010 ha sido Vocal en la Junta directiva y Presidente de la Comisión de Consultoría y Ejercicio Libre en el Colegio de Ingenieros de Caminos, Canales y Puertos, actualmente es Consejero del mismo.

Junto a sus funciones como Director de Ingeniería y Tecnología de Gas Natural Fenosa y Presidente de Gas Natural Fenosa Engineering, S.L.U. desempeñó los cargos de:

Consejero en GHESA Ingeniería y Tecnología, S.A. y Empresarios Agrupados.

Desde 2013 es Director General del Club Español de la Energía.

Asimismo es Presidente de la Fundación Agustín de Betancourt y miembro de la Fundación de Ingenieros de Caminos, Canales y Puertos.

Andrea Course

Andrea Course works in Shell Ventures as a Venture Principal. She has more than 12 years of experience in the energy sector. Prior to joining Shell, Andrea worked as Venture Principal at Schlumberger Technology Investments and this year she was named one of 100 Global Corporate Venturing Rising Stars – profiling the industry’s top 0.5%.

Andrea has been working on research and new technology development for over eight years. She held the positions of Product Manager, Senior Product Analyst, engineering manager and product design engineer. She holds a degree in Engineering Physics from the University of Central Oklahoma, a Master of Science from the University of Oklahoma in Aerospace Engineering and an executive MBA from the University of Houston.

Mauricio Roitman

Mauricio Roitman

Mauricio Roitman holds a master’s degree in economics with honors from the University of Surrey in the United Kingdom, a diploma in energy economics and energy planning from Copime-IAE General Mosconi, and holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Universidad Argentina de la Empresa (UADE). Mr. Roitman has taken several executive education courses including economics for regulation at the Center of economics studies for regulation (Centro de Estudios Economicos de la Regulación) of Universidad Argentina de la Empresa (UADE) and the World Bank. Before assuming his current position as Chairman of ENARGAS, he served as Undersecretary for Scenarios and Project Evaluation at the Ministry of Energy and Mines. Prior to that he worked at the consulting firm Montamat & Asociados and was Consulting Projects Director at Energy Consulting Services. He was also parliament advisor in the Commission for Energy and Mines at the Argentine Senate and parliament advisor in the Energy and Fuels Commission at the Chamber of Deputies.

Roland Roesch

Roland Roesch

Dr. Roland Roesch is Deputy Director at the Innovation and Technology Center of the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA). Before Roland became in October 2010 a Professor for Energy Economics at the University of Applied Science in Darmstadt he worked for 15 years in the Oil&Gas and Utilities Industry for Shell and E.ON in his last position as General Manager Power at Shell and for E.ON as Head of Division, Project Leader, Project Executive and Technical Project Developer. Before he joined E.ON he worked as Energy Market Consultant for Lahmeyer International and as researcher for renewable energies. Roland has solid business experience in energy markets, energy economics and energy strategies, renewable integration management, energy project development and project financing. He currently leads IRENA´s work on RE Project Development known as IRENA Project Navigator, RE Innovation, Grids and Flexibility for the Power Sector Transformation and the Gas Sector Transformation.
